Dr Laila Hamidi-Manesh is a general paediatrician who covers all aspects of Paediatrics from birth to 16years of age. Her special interest is in Paediatric Cardiology and Paediatric Integrated Care.

Laila graduated from King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, in 1999 and has been a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health since 2006. She has extensive training in all aspects of Paediatrics in many leading London Hospitals, including Royal Free, West Middlesex, Evelina Children’s Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital as well as a Masters degree in Clinical Paediatrics from the Institute of Child Health in London. She currently works as a Paediatric consultant at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust.

Laila holds full European Accreditation in Echocardiography in Congenital Heart Disease from the European Society of Cardiology. She is confident in screening for cardiac structural disease, such as in those with heart murmurs. Laila is also actively involved in developing integrated pathways in Child Health to improve primary care for children in North London.
