Rachel graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc (Hons) in 1994 and has had a wealth of experience working in both NHS and Private Hospitals in London and the South Coast.
In 2001, Rachel furthered her qualifications by training as an extended scope practitioner, enhancing her assessment and diagnostic skills and utilising a wider variety of investigative tools including MRI, X-ray and blood analysis. Rachel has worked directly with Orthopaedic Consultants, both in clinics and in theatre, and has a first hand knowledge of injuries from diagnosis, through treatment to final rehabilitation. Rachel has also worked with Children competing at National level within a variety of sports from Swimming to Football to Golf.
Rachel’s particular interest lies in the effects of growth in children and their presenting problems from newborn through to final growth. Growing pains and sports related problems in all age groups have been successfully treated by Rachel. Rachel is able to offer advice and treatment for babies from birth with problems such as preferred head turn, overlapping toes, altered foot posture, Plagiocephaly/ Torticolis, hip problems and any asymmetry.
