Vanessa Is a fully qualified Psychotherapist, registered with UKCP. She appreciates the courage and honesty in seeking help. Vanessa is committed to trying to understand her clients and endeavours to do this from a place of non-judgement. She tailors her approach to the individual person in front of her with compassion and warmth. Trained with a transpersonal integrative perspective at CCPE, Vanessa appreciates that not every size fits all and can be eclectic in her use of resources that she draws upon. Vanessa values the creative aspect of psychotherapy and is happy to engage with the symbolic life of a client through their dreams, art, visualisations, and role play. Similarly respecting, that for others, the catharsis of being heard is therapeutic enough. Her training included the majority of theories, so flavours of psychodynamic principles and CBT are sometimes used.  Vanessa works with a lot of clients around the issues of identity, especially around being a parent, a relationship break up, mid-life, general dissatisfaction, stress and anxiety and other life crises.
