Private Maternity at Centennial Medical Care
Centennial Medical Care is the first private medical facility outside of Central London to offer private antenatal care. Following recent changes within CQC it was highlighted that it was no longer possible for patients to be seen in an outpatient capacity unless the facility was registered with the regulated activities; ante natal and midwifery care.

The Birth Team
Midwife Sarah Denning, who practises privately at CMC with obstetrician Richard Sheridan, has recently qualified as a practitioner in birth trauma treatment, and is able to treat women who have invasive unpleasant memories of their birth experience, trauma and PTSD. The course is RCM accredited and practitioners on the register are required to maintain postgraduate supervision.
The treatment is fast and effective, often in 1-4 treatment sessions, unlike CBT and EMDR. It enables women to move forward with their lives, changing the traumatic memory into a normal memory, and build confidence and excitement about any future childbearing.
