COVID-19 testing available at CMC
Centennial Medical Care are offering a choice of Covid tests for our patients. Please note that all tests must be booked in by our reception as we are unable to accept walk ins. The tests will be conducted either in your car, or our outside covered area to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff.
COVID-19 TESTING AVAILABLE AT CMC
Centennial Medical Care offers a range of Covid-19 tests.
RT-PCR tests.
known as the ‘gold standard’. They are carried out at CMC and sent to a laboratory. Results will be returned in approximately 24 hours.
Rapid Antigen tests.
Carried out at CMC or can be purchased for home use. These tests give a result in 20-30 minutes.
All tests carried out at CMC are self-tests. Our staff will do that is required to help you carry out your test.
TRAVEL TESTS
Centennial Medical Care are a Government recognised provider of COVID testing. It is your responsibility to check with both your airline provider and the government website of your destination to see what requirements they have.

CMC are able to provide the following:
RT-PCR Fit to Fly - £99 (This test is for flying out of the UK)
The sample is taken via a nasopharyngeal (nose/throat) swab. This is a self-test. Your test results certificate (PDF format) can be collected or sent to you via email and will usually take 24 hours to be completed. Our RT-PCR test certificate from a UKAS accredited lab is accepted by all countries.
We can also offer a rapid result PCR service. Please call for more information.
Rapid Antigen Test – £29 (For pre-departures)
This test is undertaken in the nose and is ready in 30 minutes. This is a self-test. We will then provide you with a Fit to Fly certificate to countries where an antigen test is sufficient (please check the relevant government website and airlines before booking).
BOOKING YOUR TESTS
Centennial Medical Care requires you to book an allocated appointment time if you wish to carry out any of the tests detailed above. We will require 15 minutes of your time to complete the ordering process and gather all the required information.
Please call 0203 327 7777 and ensure you have your Passport information and your flight information as well as your personal details to hand when arriving for your appointment.
The current guidelines for testing requirements for both vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers are specific to the individual country. Please make sure you have checked this detail and that the information has not changed recently prior to your flight.
RETURNING TO THE UK
The current guidelines are that you do not require any test, vaccinated or unvaccinated, when you return to the UK.
