Mr Daniel Cohen is a Consultant Urological Surgeon. He completed his surgical training in London before undertaking a Fellowship in laser prostate surgery (HoLEP). He was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London for his research. Mr Cohen is one of two UK panel members on the European Association of Urology Bladder Cancer Guidelines Panel and is an advisor to Prostate Cancer UK. Mr Cohen has a broad general urology practice with special interests in prostate and bladder conditions, including benign prostatic disease, including Holmium Laser Surgery (HoLEP), raised PSA, prostate cancer diagnosis using MRI and transperineal biopsy, bladder cancer and bladder problems including infections, blood in the urine and incontinence. He is a core member of the bladder cancer and prostate cancer multi-disciplinary teams at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Cohen maintains an active research interest. He has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed papers and has presented his research in Europe and the United States.
