Dr Tessa Buckman graduated in medicine from University College London in 1991, before spending several years in hospital training, followed by General Practice training at St Mary’s Hospital.
She has a Diploma in Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as one from the Faculty of Family Planning.
She has spent 20 years as a GP Partner in the NHS, with experience in all aspects of General Practice, in particular the care of women and children.
She has alongside this been involved in postgraduate medical education as a GP trainer and continues to work as a GP appraiser.
She has maintained a lifelong special interest in the menopause and woman’s health, and is an active member of the British Menopause Society.
Dr Buckman also has extensive experience in facial aesthetics, having completed her initial training in 2005 and further expanding her knowledge by completing a new post graduate qualification, Level 7, training in 2019.
As well as routine GP appointments, she offers menopause advice, and botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments for facial rejuvenation.
