Richard Sheridan has been a consultant obstetrician & gynaecologist in the area since 1991, he is now concentrating on gynaecology and is an accredited British Menopause Society specialist.  The available treatments for menopause at CMC are both hormonal and non-hormonal in treatments of symptoms of the menopause, such as flushes, sweats, insomnia, aches and pains and symptoms such as a dry vagina, discomfort with sex and low libido.  The range of hormonal treatments includes, gels, patches and implants of Oestrogen and Testosterone, with the Progestogenic component give as either a Mirena coil or a daily tablet.  There is no reason for you to suffer in silence and you can have a consultation to discuss the pros, cons, risks and benefits.

The Clinic also offers consultations on heavy periods, pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, contraception and basic fertility testing.
